My first book, What Love Can't Fix, published in January 2026, is the fulfillment of a teenage dream to become a writer - in the winter of my life. My memoir takes the reader on a journey through the greatest adversity of my life, as described in the subtitle: Navigating the Storms of My Husband's Mental Illness. My 17 years as a caregiver took place in the 1980s and 1990s, long before public awareness, the internet, podcasts, support groups, or books about mental illness existed. I had no voice and was terrified and utterly alone. In the end, despite my mistakes, I was transformed by this experience. I am blessed to have Jack Canfield's endorsement of my book AND I am a co-author with him in his upcoming book The Heart of Success: Living, Loving, and Learning with Purpose, due out in late Spring or early Summer!
