


Cindy Littlejohn
At seven times a grandmother, Cindy Roe Littlejohn is the wife of an environmental engineer and the mother of three adult children, but she is also a tree farmer, blogger, retired agriculture and environmental lobbyist, piano player, former association manager, world traveler, old trails traveler, and former adjunct professor. She and her husband once survived a hurricane on a clipper ship.
She is an author of historical nonfiction books. Her debut book in her “Palmetto Pioneers” series won a bronze medal at the IPPY Awards for nonfiction in the southeast and three more medals for history, biography, and cover design for the 2024 Florida Authors and Publishers Association awards. Her territorial Florida adventure, “Palmetto Pioneers: the Emigrants” and its sequel “From Harmony to Hostility” have received critical acclaim. Her third book in the series “ Yankees in the Courthouse was released in 2025.
When she’s not working, she can usually be found traveling old trails or in her garden.
