Raffaela "Marie" enjoys writing about people and what makes them who they are. Many of her stories are rooted in the experiences of immigrants from Southern Italy.
Her passions are faith, family, and friends. She devotes her energy to capturing family stories, reading,  genealogy, history, travel, and community volunteering.
Her service-oriented leadership, combined with her creativity and resourcefulness, yielded a proven record of accomplishment and success in integrated marketing promotions and communications programs within the corporate world.
Born in Italy and honed in America, she and her husband make Amelia Island home. Marie is the mother of two adults and the proud grandmother to a talented and intelligent granddaughter, as well as a grandson who is a star, boasting brilliant academic achievements and exceptional talents on the football field.
She and her husband, Mark, co-founded Giro di Mondo Publishing, which published several FAPA award-winning books. T
