A former staff writer for The Tampa Tribune, I won two communication awards from the American Institute of Architects during the decade I worked as the newspaper’s architecture critic. I've written two award-winning young adult novels and currently edit three residential community magazines in Lake and Volusia Counties.
I was appointed to the board in 2020 as Newsletter Editor, served as President-elect in 2021, President in 2022 and Treasurer 2022-2025. I enjoy my current role as Scholarship Chairman, working with young writers and increasing FAPA's visibility among colleges and universities.
