FAPA Student Award for Literary Excellence
The Florida Authors and Publishers Association is offering two $500 cash awards in 2026 to eligible Florida students.
Each awardee will receive:

A cash award of $500 and recognition at the FAPACon2026 awards ceremony

Free registration for the FAPACon2025 conference, awards ceremony, and workshops, at the Orlando Buena Vista Palace in Orlando, FL

Complimentary one-year student membership to FAPA
Eligibility:

Any full-time undergraduate or graduate student registered at a college or university in the state of Florida, or any Florida resident attending an in-state or out-of-state accredited college or university as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student may apply.

Applicants should be pursuing a degree in the fields of writing, publishing, or related field, such as Communications, English, Journalism, Creative Writing, Book Design, Library Science, Illustration, Poetry, etc., or be actively pursuing a career in writing or publishing.

Lyricists may also submit lyrics as poems.
